Teen & Family Therapy
Bringing calm back home—together
Growing Up Shouldn’t Tear You Apart
Adolescence is an internal remodel on a public stage: new feelings, bigger risks, nonstop social feeds. When conflicts spike, everyone can end up talking past each other—teens defending freedom, parents defending safety. Therapy turns that standoff into shared ground, replacing power struggles with skills that let the whole family breathe.
How We Work
Our first step is perspective. I meet privately with your teen and then with caregivers, so every concern lands without judgment. From there we design a rhythm of individual, parent-only, and joint sessions tailored to your goals.
Sessions draw on emotion-coaching, Collaborative Problem Solving, and DBT-informed tools.
Teens practice naming emotions before they detonate, navigating anxiety spikes, and asking for help in a way that lands.
Parents learn to validate feelings while keeping boundaries, defuse high-stakes moments, and model the steadiness they want their kids to feel.
What Change Feels Like
It starts small: homework begins without a standoff; curfew talks end with a handshake; a text reads “I’m overwhelmed” instead of radio silence. Over time those wins weave a new family climate—conversation replaces combat, and home regains its sense of safety.
Flexible, Private Care
Secure tele-health for families anywhere in California—ideal for split households and packed evenings.
Concierge in-home sessions statewide when privacy, travel, or schedules make virtual therapy impractical.
All services use encrypted platforms; we coordinate with schools or other providers only with your consent.
